The DR Congo Ebola outbreak has now killed more than 4,000 people from over 8,300 confirmed cases, with conflict and mistrust hampering the health response.
The worst ever Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now killed more than 4,000 people out of more than 8,000 confirmed cases, Congolese officials said on Friday.

The fatality rate stands at 48.4 per cent, and the outbreak has spread across seven provinces, with armed conflict destroying health facilities and displacing thousands.
The US has released a further 237 million euros to fight the spread, and France's foreign minister visited the Ituri capital to show support for aid workers.
Several vaccines and treatments are being trialled, including the Ervebo vaccine now being given to frontline workers as part of a clinical study.
