Wheel Words
Swap tiles so every row & column spells a word.

About Wheel Words

Wheel Words is a daily word grid puzzle in the Waffle style. Letter tiles sit in a five by five lattice, and every full row and column has to spell a real word. The letters are all there, just in the wrong places. Swap two tiles at a time until the whole board reads correctly, and do it within the move limit.

The colours guide you: a green tile is in the right spot, a yellow tile belongs somewhere in that row or column, and a grey tile belongs elsewhere. One new board every morning, free to play in your browser.

How to play Wheel Words

  1. Tap one tile, then another, to swap them.
  2. Green tiles with a tick are already correct, so leave them alone.
  3. Focus on the yellow and grey tiles. Yellow means the letter belongs in that line, grey means it does not.
  4. Turn every tile green before you reach the 15-move limit.

A new puzzle is published every morning, Sydney time, and signed-in members keep their streaks and scores across devices.
