About Crossums

Crossums is a daily number-crossing puzzle. Every row and every column has a target sum. Cross out the numbers that do not belong so that the remaining numbers in each line add up exactly to the target. Each decision affects a row and a column at once, which is where the logic comes in.

It plays like a cousin of Kakuro and Sudoku with much less setup: no rules to learn beyond addition. One new puzzle each morning, free in your browser.

How to play Crossums

  1. Look at the target beside each row and below each column.
  2. Tap a number to cross it out. Tap again to bring it back.
  3. Keep going until every row and column sums to its target.
  4. Solved lines turn green. Finish the grid to stop the clock.
