About The Cuppa Case

The Cuppa Case is a daily whodunnit in miniature. Something has gone missing in a cosy Australian neighbourhood and each neighbour gives a statement. There is exactly one culprit, and the culprit's statement is false; every innocent neighbour tells the truth. Read the statements, work out whose lie makes everything else fit, and make your accusation.

Each case takes five to ten minutes and needs nothing but careful reading. A new mystery every day, free in your browser, with a timer and a leaderboard for signed-in members.

How to play The Cuppa Case

  1. Read every neighbour's statement.
  2. Mark each neighbour Innocent or Guilty and watch how the marks make each statement true or false.
  3. Accuse the neighbour whose guilt makes all the statements consistent.
  4. A wrong accusation adds a strike and 60 seconds to your time, so think before you point.

A new puzzle is published every morning, Sydney time, and signed-in members keep their streaks and scores across devices.
