About Mahjong Solitaire
Mahjong Solitaire is a tile matching game played with a set of mahjong tiles stacked in layers. Remove matching pairs of free tiles until the board is clear. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and at least one long side is open. Plan ahead: clearing the wrong pair can leave you with no moves.
Cuppa's Mahjong is free to play in your browser with no download. Each layout is checked to be solvable, and a hint is available if you get stuck.
How to play Mahjong Solitaire
- Tap a free tile, then tap its matching partner to remove both.
- Tiles are free when they are uncovered and can slide out to the left or right.
- Seasons and Flowers match within their group, everything else must match exactly.
- Clear every tile to win. Use Hint or Shuffle when you cannot see a move.
A new puzzle is published every morning, Sydney time, and signed-in members keep their streaks and scores across devices.
