Health authorities have issued an urgent warning after a dangerously high dose batch of ecstasy tablets were found in circulation in NSW.
NSW Health has issued an urgent warning about a batch of high-dose MDMA tablets circulating in the state, some shaped like Super Mario and Angry Birds characters.
Six specific tablets have been flagged, with the most dangerous, a yellow skull MYBRAND pill, containing as much as 268mg of MDMA per tablet.
Authorities warn that re-dosing is especially dangerous and that high-dose MDMA has been linked to death, so anyone feeling unwell should call Triple Zero immediately.
Watch for signs like overheating, racing heart, rigid muscles or confusion in anyone who may have taken MDMA, and call Triple Zero straight away if you see them.
